Dr. Carly Carafa is a small-town Ohio native with a passion for serving others. She was born and raised in Urbana, where she experienced a volleyball-related injury during high school that led her to chiropractic care. This experience introduced her to the world of chiropractic and holistic healing, ultimately shaping her career path. Dr. Carafa attended Wittenberg University, where she played volleyball while pursuing her academic goals. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, further strengthening her commitment to helping others through healthcare. While completing her Doctorate in Chiropractic at Life University, Dr. Carafa developed a strong interest in functional neurology. This field emphasizes the intricate relationship between the brain and body, offering targeted treatments designed to improve brain function. Her passion for this specialty led her to become President of the Functional Neurology Club during her time at Life University. Dr. Carafa later completed an internship under Marc Ellis at the Georgia Chiropractic Neurology Center, where she gained hands-on experience in neurological care and learned to integrate soft tissue techniques into patient treatment. During her internship, Dr. Carafa worked with a variety of conditions, including but not limited to: functional neurological disorder (FND), postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), dysautonomia, tremors, cognitive decline, ADHD in children, post-stroke conditions, post-concussion syndrome, seizures, and OCD. Dr. Carafa is proud to be part of Delta Neuro Health and to serve the Westerville community, where she continues to help patients improve their neurological health and overall well-being.
